TriceraChorus is inspired by the classic tri-choruses and stompbox choruses of the 1970s and early 1980s. It combines rich BBD-style tri-chorusing with another iconic effect from the 1980s: Eventide micro-pitch detuning. This versatile effect can be used to enhance sound thickness, introduce static chorusing, and widen the stereo field by detuning the left and right signals oppositely. By blending these features, users can craft smooth, syrupy, and profound modulations across a spectrum of instruments from synths and strings to vocals, guitars, and more. The TriceraChorus effect is tailored to encourage experimental sound design with a user interface optimized for live performances. Whether on an iPad or iPhone, TriceraChorus enriches your sonic palette.
TriceraChorus boasts three distinct chorus voices: Left, Center, and Right. These voices experience modulation through a three-phase LFO that alters their delay times. The amalgamation of these three modulated delays produces luscious chorus textures reminiscent of the gear popularized in the 70s and 80s. For those seeking classic chorus stompbox vibes, "Chorus" mode is ideal. To delve into more intricate and profound sounds, "Chorale" mode generates luxurious swirling choruses inspired by vintage rackmount tri-chorus units. Exploring a psychedelic realm? Experiment with "Swirl."
Utilize RIBBON for playing or automating transitions between different settings. This intuitive performance macro is excellent for enhancing flange-like effects' depth, changing modulation rates for transitional effects, or controlling Mix parameters for momentary performance embellishments. For seamless live transitions between settings, employ HOTSWITCH. Both RIBBON and HOTSWITCH settings are saved per preset, boosting flexibility in exploring TriceraChorus's vast potential.
